Hello Again, Everyone!
I was getting a bit tired of creating 3D models, so I decided to start creating some Sprite Works; my definitive forte of artwork production, if I say so myself!
I kept under the snes color palette for that authentic touch with the model, and placed the model on a pedestal akin to my other trophy looking 3D Models, since I like that kind of stuff a lot. I am HOPING that I am able to make a series of sprites in this fashion for loved ones and people I admire, but we will see!
Due to the size of the sprite, I had to simplify some aspects of the character, such as the decoration around the sun, the skulls on various parts of my body (bow tie, leggings), and also give the Sun Rod Green Eyes instead of blue, due to the color palette; but it still looks as close to the original design, so its fine in my book!
I hope you all enjoy my work so far, though; I am hoping I can produce more soon!

After seeing the dramatic results from the Ice Bucket Challenge, Indian journalist Manju Latha Kalanidhi was compelled to start something similar, but with an Indian slant. “I felt like doing something more locally tangible. Rice is a staple here,” Kalanidhi told CNN. “We eat it every day, we can store it for months. Why not donate rice to someone who is hungry?”
